i read your blogpost and i completely agree. unfortunately with apple phones theres really not a lot of leeway unless you're in the UK and can sideload without limits. does lineageOS still work with banking apps, or did you have to find a workaround for those?

Nice website you've got, I'm also a linux user (fedora kde on my desktop, ubuntu on my laptop)! I actually do most banking from a computer. I tried installing some banking apps: Wise doesn't work. (Which is a pain because it's so great for traveling, which is when I don't want to be carrying around a bulky laptop.) My small local bank's app actually does work. Your mileage may vary.
your blogpost about intentional use of technology really resonated with me. sometimes i catch myself scrolling to the bottom of my feed and im like... so what was the point of any of that. LMAO. ive deleted most social media but youtube and reddit are my final boss.

Thanks avery! Yeah I find youtube a hard one too, there's so many good videos, but also so many that are just designed to get views and are otherwise pretty pointless. Always nice to meet another physics person!
